Affair Recovery Program

After an affair, there is a way through. Responsibility, not judgment.

A focused program for couples recovering from infidelity: an assessment of the affair, the question of why it happened, and two continuous hours of counseling built around your situation.

Support for both of you

Everyone in the room needs care

An affair affects each partner differently, so the program makes room for both of you.

  • For the partner who was hurt

Room for the shock, anger and grief, and clear answers to the question of why it happened.

  • For the partner who had the affair

Take responsibility without being judged, and learn how to support your partner's healing.

  • For the two of you

A couples assessment that gives immediate help with the issues you're still facing together.

What the program includes

When an affair has shaken everything

Learning about an affair can feel like the ground has disappeared, whether it happened recently or you found out after many years together. That shock deserves real care.

My Affair Recovery Program starts with a phone consultation, followed by two continuous hours of custom counseling built around your situation, with learning materials you can keep using afterward.

The focus is responsibility, not judgment, so both partners can be heard.

The program is $475 for two continuous hours of counseling and can be extended. Insurance is not used for this program.

  1. Assess the affair

Look clearly at what happened and where each of you is right now.

  2. Ask why it happened

Understand the causes, so the same pattern doesn't repeat.

  3. Face the shock

Work through the shock of the affair with responsibility, not judgment.

  4. Assess your relationship

A personality and couples assessment that gives immediate help with ongoing issues.

For couples who need more time

Intensive counseling

Some couples need more than a weekly hour. Intensives are closely spaced sessions for couples with specific needs, or who live outside the Rogue Valley.

The program is built on practicing new skills together, not only talking about them, so you leave with something you can use at home.

Intensives are often a good fit for:

  • Couples from Bend, Klamath Falls, Eugene, Portland, Brookings or Coos Bay
  • Up to 20 hours focused on one issue
  • Couples facing post-traumatic stress, depression, or repeated infidelity
